At CleanKit, accessible from our mobile application, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by CleanUp and how we use it.

Your privacy is important to us. It is CleanUp's policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you across our application.

1. Information We Collect

We believe in privacy by design. We do not collect, store, or share your personal photos, videos, or contacts on our servers. All processing happens locally on your device.

1.1 Photos and Videos

To provide our core service—identifying duplicate, similar, or blurry photos and large videos—we require access to your Photo Library.

• How we use it: Our algorithms scan your library locally on your device to find files you might want to delete.
• Privacy: Your photos and videos never leave your device. We do not upload them to any cloud server.

1.2 Contacts

If you use the Contact Cleaner feature, we request access to your Contacts.

• How we use it: To identify duplicate contacts or incomplete entries (e.g., contacts with no name or number).
• Privacy: This processing is done entirely on your device. We do not sync or upload your contact list.

1.3 Secret Space (Vault)

Files you move to the "Secret Space" imply local storage within the app’s secure container.

• Security: These files are protected by your device's security features (PIN, FaceID, or TouchID). We do not have access to these files, and if you delete the app without restoring them, they may be permanently lost.

1.4 Technical Data & Analytics

We may collect anonymous usage data to improve app performance and stability. This includes:

• Crash Logs: Information about app crashes to help us fix bugs (via Firebase Crashlytics).
• Usage Statistics: Anonymous data on which features are used most (via Firebase Analytics) to help us improve the user experience.
